A Young Tanoli, Mr Numan Khan Tanoli is the president of "Young Blood doner Socity" in Abbottabad from last 5 years, The society has given the blood to more then 1600 patients and the especially the children who are suffered in the Thalassemia.

He is also president of "Social Socity of Gohar Abbad (Havelian)". He has great contribution during the 8-September Earth quack in NWFP and AJK. he arranged a seperate Camp of 50 families on his own land in Gohar Abad for about 10 months.

Feroz Khan Tanoli was an Indian actor, film editor, producer and director in the Hindi film industry for his flamboyant style, with cowboyish swagger and cigar toting persona which revolutionized the style quotient of the otherwise conventional Bollywood hero, he was known as the Clint Eastwood of the East and a style icon in the industry.

Feroz Khan was born in Bangalore, India. His father Sadiq Ali Khan Tanoli hailed from a Persian speaking tribe in the Ghazni Province of Afghanistan and his mother Bibi Fatima was from Iran.

He was educated in Bishop Cotton Boys School, Bangalore and St. Germain High School, Bangalore. His brothers are Sanjay Khan (Abbas Khan), Shahrukh Shah Ali Khan, Sameer Khan and Akbar Khan. He has a sister Dilshad Bibi. After his schooling in Bangalore, he travelled to Mumbai where he made his debut as second lead in Didi in 1960.

Feroz Khan married Sundari Khan in 1965, but divorced in 1985. They have two children, Laila Khan (born 1970), and Fardeen Khan (born 1974). Fardeen is married to Natasha Madhwani, daughter of former Bollywood actor Mumtaz.

Khan died as a result of cancer on 27 April 2009 at the age of 69 in Bangalore.

A noted and social personlity of Lower Tanol, Baboo Muhammad Khawas Khan Tanoli was retired Inspector form Police department. In 1947 
"Khawas Khan Tanoli was the firt person who opened first fire on Indian Army to declared the war against India."

He remained the President of Retired Pencencier of Police Department and Civil Defence Department of Harzara Divisiaon about a period of 15 years.

Adocate Shafiq Ahmed Khan Tanoli

B.A.LLB in 1985 from Balochistan University. Chairman Finance Committee Municipal corporation Quetta for four years, Chairman Zakat Distt: Quetta for three years, chief organisor Social Welfare Project for fifteen years, Member Governor''s Body Quetta Development authority for four years, and is the president of PPPP Quetta City.Member Provincial assembly of the Balochistan in General Elections 2002 first time. 

Again he elected General Elections 2008 and become a member of Balochistan Provincila assembly and became Education Minister of Balochistan. Balochistan Minister for Education and leader of PPP Shafiq Ahmed Khan was killed on 25, Oct 2009 as unknown armed men opened fire on him outside his house in Quetta, the the capital of Balochistan.

Muhammad Ayub Khan Tanoli is the famous personality in the field of Education in Hazara Division. He is Ex-Principal of Post Graduate College Manshera and Chairman Physics Department Govt Post Graduate College Abbottabad. Top researcher & Professional looks for his help in the field of Physics. Hewas remained district bar president Abbottabad. He was a famous politation and an Advocate. Ayub Tanoli started his political carrier in 1983 and was first elected as member of the district council Abbottabad. In 1985 party less polls, he was elected to NWFP Assembly from the then PF-38. He was made minister for local government and rural development in the cabinet of the then chief Minister Arbab Mohammed Jehangir Khan.

In 1988, he returned to the Provincial Assembly on IJI ticket. He developed some differences with the IJI leadership and joined Aftab Sherpao's government after making a forward block. Tanoli was awarded with his choice ministry - local government & rural development -- and he was considered as king-maker during Sherpao's first tenure as Chief Minister of NWFP.

Prince Jehandad Khan Tanoli (LATE)

Jehandad Khan Tanoli was the younger son of Painda Khan the prominent ruler of state of Amb. 

He was very brave and couragious man. He recoverd his areas from Hari Singh after a bloody battle with his army. He gained the title of sword man at that time.

Prince Zaberdast Khan Tanoli (LATE)

Zaberdast Khan was the cheif of Tanoli tribe in 1400 when Tanoli was living in Swat and Buner, the western bank of the river indus river. 

Zaberdast Khan with his troops fought the battle of Pani Paat aginst Mratta as a prominent allies of Ahmed Shah Abdali.

Zaber Khan gained the Title of Subba Khan from Ahmed Shah Abdali because of his bravery and boldness in the battle of Pani Paat.
